Job Overview:
Part of the Value-Added network Product team, the purpose of the role is to manage the NGFW Platform product (on-prem DC & Managed Public Cloud) and achieve their strategic technical, financial, and customer satisfaction objectives. The NGFW Product provides globally for the Group Firewall and IPS services in close collaboration with Cyber Defense. This role will shape the strategy of the NGFW Platform in line with the Group strategic plans and manage the performance of the product line throughout its product life cycle.
As a Team Manager, you will be a key member of the Product Line Management team and will be managing the NGFW Platform team.
You will also play a key role, together with the NGFW Product Owner, in providing detailed technical information to our partners, Opco’s, Markets, customers, and internal GO teams. Together with your team, you will concentrate on operational topics, projects, life cycle, support for pre-sales activities, working with key accounts and field teams, responding to solution engineer’s inquiries, and assisting in Customer Proof of Concept trials.
The individual must be a highly motivated self-starter, well-organized, able to work independently, and identify needs within the organization and address them as needed.
Responsibilities:
1. End to end responsible for the NGFW Platform Product
2. Financial monitoring, budget control, budget reservation of your product
3. Resource management of the team
4. FTE and non-FTE budget management
5. Define Product strategy with CTO and Cyber Defense
6. Vendor management
7. Close collaboration with Network Operations, Service Management, and Cyber Defense team
8. Deliver technical presentations to customers, partners, internal sales, and other GO teams
9. Spend time with customers gathering feedback and then inject that feedback into the life cycle of the Product
10. Analyze and understand market trends and customer needs (in collaboration with PO and CTO)
11. Responsible for Standard Work Requests on your product (definition, process, execution, monitoring, etc.)
12. Contribute to the management of partnerships and supplier relationships
13. Monitor and manage the cost structure related to the product
14. Product Roadmap/Life Cycle Management/Performance
15. Develop and manage the product roadmap throughout the lifecycle from conception to retirement, covering the quote to bill chain on ordering, installation, field services, management, monitoring, support, and billing
16. Track the product(s) P&L revenue, new business, and profitability including competitive pricing of the product(s) in the marketplace to achieve desired sales volumes/optimized profit
17. Product Marketing/Value Proposition/Market Intelligence
18. Define and develop the product value proposition
19. Product Pricing Strategy
20. Define a pricing strategy for the product(s)
21. Ensure that key players understand the pricing strategy and apply it
22. Product Management Practice
23. Ensure communication of the project plans progress tracking to all relevant parties.
24. Comply with Product Management procedures and best practices
Key Skills and Qualifications:
1. Minimum 3-5 years of team management
2. Experience in working in a Global team
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
4. Team motivator and builder, giving strategic directions to the team and being able to implement, execute
5. Experience in Lean and Agile Management
6. Technologies: General knowledge of Network technologies. Focus on Firewall is a surplus
