Senior Recruitment Consultant - Quantitative Finance

I'm looking to speak to sports modellers / quant analysts / data scientists who are experienced working with predictive models, researching new methods, and developing solutions using extensive datasets.
This role will sit on the football prediction team where your work will involve a mix of well-executed analyses and innovative modelling to address unique challenges in football analytics.
You’ll have the freedom to explore your ideas and collaborate with a team of quants, developers, and analysts, combining technical expertise with football knowledge.
Professional experience working within the sports trading space is not a prerequisite, but a demonstrable interest in football / sports is.
Experience:
* 3+ years in predictive modelling, machine learning, and probability theory, with a focus on sports or gaming/betting.
* Expertise in Monte Carlo simulation, Bayesian modelling, mixed effects models, Kalman filters, GLMs, and time series forecasting.
* Proficient in Python; knowledgeable in SQL and relational databases.
Preferred Qualities:
* Understanding of expected value, utility principles, and project prioritisation in betting.
* Strong problem-solving skills; adept at delivering MVPs quickly while maintaining attention to detail.
* Effective communicator for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Interest in football and sports analytics.
