Your Role:
* Expert Case Management: Take the reins and oversee a variety of cases, including Pre-action disclosure files, Infant Approval Hearings, and MOJ Stage 3 files, all handled under Delegated Authority.
* Analytical Excellence: Employ your forensic skills to meticulously analyze and resolve issues within each case.
* Document Mastery: Navigate and appreciate the intricate documents and evidence essential to these cases.
* Team Collaboration: Support our experienced File Handlers, contributing to the success of their caseloads with your keen eye for detail.

Key Accountabilities
Own Caseload Duties:
* Pre-Action Disclosure Mastery: Consider and respond to Applications for Pre-action disclosure.
* Client Excellence: Handle matters in strict accordance with client SLA’s.
* Professional Guidance: Instruct Counsel/Advocate with precision.
* Critical Review: Dive deep into evidence and legal research.
* Strategic Negotiations: Conduct negotiations and draft payments into court.
* Correspondence Expertise: Manage routine correspondence efficiently.
* Claim Strategy: Perform initial reviews and set management strategies for claims.
* Ongoing Review: Continuously review matters to ensure effective resolution.
* Compliance Responsibility: Ensure adherence to CRU and SRA Standards & Regulations.
Assistant Duties to File Handlers:
* Disclosure Management: Handle disclosure effectively.
* Evidence Review: Scrutinize medical and personnel records.
* Thorough Investigations: Conduct investigations, obtaining witness statements from Insured’s.
* Collaborative Liaison: Liaise with all parties involved in claims, including the insured, Claimant Solicitors, and witnesses.
* Expert Coordination: Instruct Counsel/Experts with thoroughness.
* Active Participation: Attend conferences and Trials with Counsel, taking detailed notes.
* Quantum Review: Assess quantum with accuracy.
* Order Drafting: Draft Tomlin Orders, Consent Orders, and Cost schedules.
* Query Resolution: Address general and straightforward queries promptly.
* Proactive Chasing: Handle telephone chasing activities.
* Documentation: Fill out Allocation Questionnaires and witness summons.

* Legal Education: ILEX, LPC, or equivalent work experience.
* Case Management: Experience handling a caseload of EL/PL files is advantageous.
* Litigation Experience: Previous experience in litigation.
* Advocacy Skills: Strong advocacy abilities.
