Reporting Technician We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Reporting Technician join our Structures & Pavements team. Working within the team based in Coventry, but working with other team members located around the country. The Structures and Pavements site team carry out testing and inspection on sites such as buildings, bridge and roads. The key function of the role is to assist the Reporting Manager by producing high quality reports in a timely manager, detailing site and laboratory test results. The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): Drafting high quality reports using both site and laboratory test results Inputting data collected on site accurately into report templates and using photographs and drawings to enhance the reports where needed Liaising with colleagues within the Structures and Pavements team and other teams within SOCOTEC. Proactively assist with the smooth running of the office Any other duties as assigned and deemed commensurate with the grade and overall responsibility of the post To be successful in this role, you will have: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook and also PDF software Excellent written and verbal communication skills A keen eye for detail and be able to produce accurate work The ability to work in an organised fashion, to achieve deadlines To be successful in this role, you will be: Accurate and precise Keen to learn Able to work within a team as well as on own initiative Proactive Experienced working in an office environment Personable and friendly Adaptable and able to help others within the team where necessary About Structures & Pavements Our Structures & Pavements team perform an extensive range of testing, investigation and condition surveys across a wide range of UK Infrastructure assets including highways, rail, airfields, ports and harbours, power stations, sports stadia in addition to building investigations across Industrial, Commercial and Residential properties.
