Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with Professor Grunwald (Chair of Neuroradiology) and the IGTRF team to deliver research projects, which involve imaging, education and innovation.
2. Assist in the evaluation of the NeuroLogica Samsung mobile Photon Counting Detector CT scanner.
3. Under the supervision of the Senior Technical Project Developer, help establish, develop and deliver research projects, providing regular and accurate updates.
4. Review research and imaging protocols and ensure all documentation is in place.
5. Support the wider IGTRF activities as directed by the Senior Technical Project Developer to ensure December 2024 teamwork and successful facility operation.
6. Assist in the development and preparation of cadaveric perfusion models to meet project requirements. Develop technical aspects of simulation such as setup of monitoring equipment and pressure systems for project sessions.
7. Conduct background research and contribute proactively to research projects, playing a significant role in the achievement of the team's objectives, showing the ability to help problem solve.
8. Supervise staff and visitors within IGTRF laboratory areas, ensuring health and safety procedures are maintained. Take any necessary and proportionate actions to prevent any risk to staff or visitors. Raise any concerns directly to IGTRF Senior Technical Project Developer.
9. Together with the IGTRF team, ensure the safe, proper, and effective use of equipment, simulators, and facilities through the provision of training/SOPs/etc. to staff and students.
10. Ensure laboratories and preparation areas are clean and maintained to the highest possible standards.
11. When planning activities, be proactive and ensure all consumables are available, actioning accordingly in accordance with laboratory SOPs and University Procurement Policies and Procedures.
12. Assist with receiving deliveries and reporting any faults/damages for resolution.
13. Report any building repairs to Wilson House Operational team and arrange any access as required.
14. Manage your own time effectively.
15. Communicate effectively with the IGTRF team and provide updates at weekly meetings.
16. As part of the team, build relationships with company representatives and clients, showcasing IGTRF and its successes.
