Role Overview: As a PE-backed business focused on rapid growth and M&A, we are seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Group Pricing Manager to establish and lead the pricing function across our expanding portfolio of lighting companies. This is a strategic, newly created role that will develop group-wide pricing initiatives, set up scalable pricing processes, and ensure pricing alignment across multiple markets. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to build a data-driven pricing framework and will be instrumental in setting up a growing pricing function. Key Responsibilities: Pricing Strategy Development: Design and implement pricing strategies to support the commercial objectives of each brand within the group, ensuring consistency and competitiveness across markets. Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviours to develop actionable insights and optimize pricing models. International Pricing Oversight: Ensure pricing strategies are aligned across international markets. Team Building and Management: Initially operate as a one-person team with the potential to expand as the pricing function grows, managing all pricing-related activities and establishing best practices. Collaborative Development: Work closely with finance and other group functions to embed pricing practices into the business, aligning with the commercial and financial goals of each entity within the group. Autonomous Execution: Operate with a high degree of autonomy to design, implement, and refine pricing strategies while providing support and training to group company teams as needed. Qualifications: Experience: proven track-record in a pricing, finance, or commercial strategy role, with experience in B2B environments; sector experience in lighting is not required. International Exposure: Proven experience managing pricing strategies across multiple regions. Language Skills: Proficiency in English and French is highly desirable. Analytical and Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis and financial modelling. Leadership Ability: Experience building and leading teams, with the capability to set up a function from the ground up and establish scalable processes. Communication and Influence: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across functions.
