We are currently looking to appoint a Clinical Administration Officer (CAO) to cover maternity leave, working in the Den within the Family Care Division.
The successful candidate must be customer focussed, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work under pressure are essential together with great attention to detail for ensuring data is recorded accurately onto the patient administration systems.
To be successful in this role you will possess IT skills, GCSE Maths and English grade A-C (or equivalent) and have relevant office/secretarial experience. You must also be adaptable to meet the service needs.
Knowledge of medical terminology, customer care and previous NHS experience are also desirable.
The main duties of this role is to provide a range of administrative support services to a group of Consultant, Medical Staff and/or other senior members of the Divisional teams.
Duties will include audio typing, action instructions from Clinical Staff and/or other designated senior staff, receive and action patient queries. and manage diaries where appropriate.
