This is an exciting opportunity to join the friendly Portage team!
Portage is a home visiting educational offer for children aged 0-5 years with SEND and their families.
Ideally Portage trained, you will work with parent/carers as their child's best first educator, following the National Portage Association's Small Steps to Learning ethos.
You will hold your own caseload and it is essential that you have your own transport and enjoy driving as this post covers a wide geographical area.
You will receive regular 1:1 supervision, as well as support from the friendly Portage team.
We Have Three Posts Available:
1. 1 x permanent contract part-time for 16 hours per week in West and North Norfolk
2. 2 x temporary contracts to cover maternity leave part-time for 25 hours per week in central Norfolk
All posts are term time plus one week per year, so you will not work during school holidays.
Before you apply, we recommend reading the full Job Description and Person Specification to help you demonstrate you meet the criteria.
If you wish to have an informal conversation about any of the roles, please contact: Melanie Warren, Portage Strategic Coordinator, on 07717 224776. If I am in home visits, please leave me a voicemail and I will return your call.
