As a Technician, you are motivated by a sense of ownership and achievement. Your role is to maintain, repair and overhaul railway vehicles and associated equipment in accordance with applicable standards, procedures, specifications and instructions.
You consistently fulfil the customers' requirements and are accountable for your actions. It is essential that you possess the ability to perform maintenance, repair, overhaul and manufacturing activity of rail vehicles and associated machinery, plant and equipment in accordance with specifications and to an acceptable standard. It is a key requirement that you can accurately interpret technical specifications and follow work instructions.
To excel in this role, you must be an excellent communicator and diligent worker, collaborating effectively within a team.
The Key Requirements...
1. 1 year experience in a similar and relevant Traction & Rolling Stock engineering environment
2. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in relevant mechanical/technical discipline
