This could be the role for you SF are proud to be supporting our fantastic pharmaceutical client through a period of growth and as such, are on the lookout for an Assistant Accountant for an initial 6 month contract, followed by permanent employment wherein study support and progression will be offered. Salary: £30,000 - £34,000Full time: 37.5hrsPattern: Hybrid after the initial couple of months. Assistance is required to support the growth of this organisation as they nurture a start-up business on the side of their main business. Duties to consist of: • Processing accounts payable activities including paying supplier invoices and expenses.• Managing customer agreements to ensure the correct processing of payments and account activities.• Process payments and keep customer records up to date• Managing financial aspects of both customer accounts and profit and loss accounts.• Producing bank reconciliations and ensuring that all discrepancies are dealt with• Looking after Fixed Asset Registers • Operational Cash Flow• Budgeting & Forecasting (advantageous) The successful applicant will come form a small finance team; the client is not looking for candidates who come from a high-volume background, but rather those that come from SME’s and can operate in a smaller environment and who are tech savvy with a desire to progress. You will also not be afraid to get stuck in and complete other general financial duties to support to the day to day running of the business. Hybrid working is offered with 2 days working from home, but for the first 2-3 months you will be in the office full time as a new system is implemented and collaboration will be required. You will be AAT Qualified/almost complete and wanting to study further. Once the role goes permanent, support through studies will be on offer as the intention is for you to grow with the business.
