Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Healthcare Cleaning Manager who will be responsible for the planning, day-to-day management, and financial control of cleaning services within a healthcare environment.
In this role, you will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are consistently maintained, meeting the rigorous demands of healthcare settings and aligning with agreed contractual specifications.
You will oversee all aspects of the cleaning operation, including staff management, resource allocation, and adherence to compliance and health and safety regulations.
A strong focus on quality control and performance monitoring will be key to ensuring service excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide direction, guidance and support to all staff within the cleaning department to ensure they are able to carry out their role effectively
* Create, maintain and enhance effective working relationships with all major stakeholders (colleagues, patients, visitors & Trust Staff) in line with best practice, in order to ensure satisfaction with our service & to demonstrate commitment to our long term presence within the Trust
* Manage objectives and targets for the service as outlined in the business plan. Participate in the preparation of plans, budgets and forecasts and the preparation of service related business cases
* Ensure that quality monitoring, activity reporting and performance monitoring is properly implemented and maintained
* Recruit staff and oversee their documentation and ensure all staff attend the company induction into the service
* Implement appropriate personnel policies as required in respect of all staff groups and take appropriate action where necessary
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* Good general education
* Basic Knowledge of the operation of the National Health Service and patient care
* Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation
* Experience in cleaning management
* Experience of risk management
* Previous experience of managing and leading a team of people
* Experience of client liaison and negotiation in service sector preferably health service
