Position: Senior Payroll AdministratorDepartment: PayrollExperience Required: Solid overall payroll experience, including end-to-end processes. Experience using 'Staffology' is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end payroll processes for clients, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
* Calculate and process statutory deductions, including income tax, National Insurance contributions, and pension contributions.
* Stay updated with UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
* Oversee the administration of employee pension schemes.
* Conduct payroll audits for data accuracy and compliance.
* Review and validate payroll inputs, including salaries, benefits, and deductions.
* Resolve complex payroll-related issues and queries.
* Coordinate year-end payroll processes, including P60s and P11D forms.
* Handle payroll-related inquiries from clients.
* Conduct periodic payroll reconciliations.
* Participate in the evaluation and implementation of payroll system upgrades or enhancements.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Senior Payroll Administrator or similar role focused on UK payroll.
* In-depth knowledge of UK payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
* Strong understanding of statutory deductions and pension scheme administration.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing complex payroll scenarios.
* Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Leadership and mentoring abilities.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
