Rate of Pay: £26.00 - 33.70 per Hour Summary: The Assistant HR Business Partner provides HR support to the HR Operations team by advising managers and staff on HR policies, employee relations, and employment law. The role involves casework management, job evaluations, data analysis, and supporting senior managers with complex HR issues. This position plays a key role in shaping HR strategies, maintaining compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities: Provide managers and staff with expert HR advice on policies, employment law, and best practices. Support, coach, and challenge line managers in managing people-related issues (e.g., disciplinary, grievance, attendance, and well-being). Build relationships with trade union representatives, ensuring collaborative and effective resolutions. Screen vacancies and identify redeployment opportunities for employees on the redeployment register. Conduct job evaluations, ensuring fair and consistent assessments using benchmarking data. Qualifications & Experience: CIPD qualified or working towards accreditation, with experience in a complex organization. Proven experience providing clear and balanced HR advice on employee relations issues. Experience successfully working with senior managers on complex HR matters. Background in HR within a customer-focused organization, proactively leading change. Strong knowledge of employment law, with practical application in case management.
