Role : Project Manager Location : Office based at Shenton House, Andover Salary : £35,000 to £40,000 dependant on experience Shenton Group is on the lookout for a motivated and talented Project Manager to join our team We’re open to either a industry-experienced Project Manager or an eager-to-learn Project Manager with an electrical and/or mechanical background. What’s the role? As a Projects Manager, you will be required to provide and deliver a consistently high, efficient and professional level of project management service to our clients. You will need a focus on quality with strong attention to detail and an enthusiastic attitude to achieve the customer’s satisfaction. This role requires collaboration across departments and strong communication skills to achieve project objectives. You will also travel to client sites within the UK to oversee commissioning, support the client, and act as an ambassador of the Shenton Group brand. What do you need? A healthy dose of grit, humility and conscientiousness for starters Strong communication skills are essential. You need to have a keen attitude and take a positive proactive approach to engaging with our clients and your cross-departmental colleagues. You need to be able to collaborate and take responsibility for tasks including seeking opportunities to improve. Confidence in dealing with a variety of projects and clients is essential. You should also be able to comfortably manage a constantly fluctuating workload with grace and good attention to detail. You should have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a project or contracts manager within the generator industry or a similar industry. Experience in planning and delivering complex technical projects ranging n value from £250k to several million is required. A good practical application of Microsoft Software, including Project, Excel and Word is essential as is the ability to prepare and implement a range of project tools including managing budgets, contributing to technical meetings, coordinating installations and overseeing commissioning. We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience and giving you opportunity to grow.
