To provide a Care at Home/Falls Response Service to vulnerable people in the community.
The post holder will work as a double up team within the Associated Services Team, which is part of Fife Health and Social Care Partnership.
The role includes working to a home care rota at night, assisting vulnerable service users within their own homes, responding to Community Alarm/Telecare activations, and assisting with care at home tasks. The role involves working with colleagues within the Health and Social Care Partnership and other partnership agencies.

The Person
1. You are required to have a current driving licence, as you will drive Council vehicles.
2. SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
3. Previous experience in Care at Home or awareness of the National Care Standards.
4. As a Night Link Home Carer, you should have a positive, caring attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
5. You should be able to undertake physical tasks.
Before confirming your appointment, you will need to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Since this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.
