Our client is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join their established award-winning multi-disciplinary Architectural practice based in Sheffield. The successful Interior Designer will collaborate with a team on large-scale projects within the Residential, Commercial, Leisure, Student accommodation, and Retail sectors. Our client works on a variety of projects covering different project values and sizes. Leisure/Sport experience is an advantage for the successful Interior Designer.

Interior Designer Position Overview
* Interior Designer to join an Architectural Practice based in Sheffield.
* Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
* Develop and present space plans, considering functionality and aesthetic elements.
* Create design concepts, including colour schemes, furniture selections, lighting, and other decorative elements.
* Present design proposals to clients, including 2D and 3D renderings, mood boards, and samples.
* Work closely with architects and other professionals involved in the project.
* Select and source materials, furnishings, and accessories that align with the design concept and budget.
* Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and installation.
Interior Designer Position Requirements
* A bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field is required.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in the industry post-degree.
* Strong artistic and creative abilities.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
* Knowledge of building codes and regulations is an advantage.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
* Knowledge of materials, furniture, and colour schemes.
