We are delighted to be partnered with an International Engineering and Transportation company with a large local presence near to Nottingham City Centre. Our client has launched a brand-new role for 2025 and will be recruiting on a temporary to permanent basis.
Initially the role will be fulfilled on a temporary contract whilst the postholder finds their feet and learns the operations tasks required by the site, however our client is hopeful that the successful individual will grow with the role, quickly developing into a permanent Operations Coordinator at a salary of c£24,000-£28,000 DOE.
Responsibilities
* Be a standout forward thinker able to adapt to daily changes as they arise
* Roll out new systems and processes to improve the manufacturing process
* Conduct workshops and training to develop skills at all levels
* Update training records and document performance as required
* Be an advocate for continuous improvement to ensure high standards
* Handle internal communications and effectively roll out FYIs at all levels
* Oversee reporting of accidents, incidents, risk management, and legislation
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience within the engineering sector working to the ISO9001 quality standards highly desirable
* Confident individual happy to roll out new processes at all levels
* Forward thinker with a problem-solving attitude and a can-do mindset
* Good working knowledge of MS Office and bespoke software essential
* Meticulous attention to detail
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: c£14.00 per hour DOE
