Major Contracts GRC Management

This role can be based in Birmingham, Bristol or London.
This role supports a risk management framework that helps BT Group be smart with risk, making informed decisions that enable a progressive, trusted and resilient company that connects for good. In performing assurance over our major customer contracts, the role also helps the business connect for good by being a trusted and critical friend. To protect the business by identifying risk in advance and ensuring oversight of those accountable to address the risk.
What you'll be doing
* Create new Standards or manage changes to the Major Contracts Policy, Standards, Key Controls and supporting guidance.
* Produce and develop appetite/control metrics and other metrics/statistics.
* Provide analytics from datasets in support of understanding Contracts, Risk and Controls.
* Maintain GRC information on Artemis to ensure accuracy, fit-for-purpose and timeliness of inputs/outputs.
* Regularly scan/review Artemis to identify other GRC/Unit risks that may be potentially linked to customers and thus would benefit from further investigation and visibility to Major Contracts GRC.
* Drive the use of GRC outputs for direct or indirect influences on decision making.
* Manage projects associated with improving the way the GRC is managed and/or the output utilised.
* Manage completion of assurance findings/actions, also major improvement programmes.
* Maintain Major Contracts intranet site.
The skills you'll need
* Assurance management and assurance report writing.
* Strong application of assurance and associated methods.
* Deep experience of Risk, Control and/or Governance.
* Knowledge of risk management, control environments, and governance – preferred.
* Experience in supporting bids and in life contract delivery and understanding contractual obligations – preferred.
* Some specialist knowledge in areas of bid/contracts, such as Security, Delivery, Legal, Finance – preferred.
* Understanding the Security aspects of contracts – preferred.
