Business Administration Apprentice
Fixed term contract, 18 months
Full time, 37 hours per week
£6.40 an hour, £236.80 a week
Increases after 12 months to minimum wage for your age.
We have a really exciting job opportunity for an apprentice to join our admin support team who will play a huge part in providing services to all business areas across the council.
As our apprentice within the Business Administration team, you will have many responsibilities and tasks such as:
To undertake a wide range of administrative tasks and duties working to defined business standards and processes including: -
Opening and distribution of incoming mail and the preparation of outgoing mail.
To undertake duties associated with electronic records management, data input and document scanning.
To undertake a range of financial management processes including raising purchase orders, paying invoices, and resolving billing issues.
To assist with the monitoring and ordering of stationery supplies.
To set up new staff with security access and produce identity cards.
To assist with diary management of the corporate meeting rooms
To assist with the administrative processes relating to Housing Benefits and Council Tax.
Over and above all that you’ll be working and studying towards achieving your Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship, which is a widely recognised qualification.
