We are looking for a commercially minded Health & Safety Consultant with experience in a consultancy environment to join our growing team. This is not a traditional in-house H&S role - it blends health and safety expertise with client engagement and solution-based sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver expert health and safety consultancy services to a range of clients.
* Identify client needs and provide tailored H&S solutions.
* Support business development activity and contribute to growth targets.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships across various sectors.
* Stay up to date with legislation, industry trends, and best practice.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience working in a health and safety consultancy (not internal H&S roles).
* Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance.
* Excellent communication skills with a client-first mindset.
* Ability to support or lead on sales activity (e.g. upselling, identifying opportunities).
* NEBOSH or equivalent qualification.
Ideal candidate will have:
* A background working for a consultancy or H&S service provider (e.g. Alcumus, Citation, Peninsula or similar).
* Demonstrable experience combining technical H&S knowledge with commercial awareness.
* Confidence engaging with clients, understanding their challenges, and offering solutions.
