We are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner for a large public sector organisation in the Manchester area on a Fixed Term Contract until Jul 2025.
Ideally, you will be a Part–Qualified Management Accountant with experience holding regular meetings with budget holders from the non–finance team. The organisation offers lots of flexibility to work from home, and you will generally attend the office 1 – 2 days per week.
Ideally, you will have experience working in a Third Sector organisation in a similar position, such as the NHS, a Charity, University, or Social Housing organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitoring budgets, supporting budget holders to identify variances and produce accurate forecasts, ensuring financial forecasts are challenged appropriately and detailed variance analysis is completed.
* Production of information and reports for budget holders.
* Developing the financial understanding of Budget Holders via training, guidance, and support.
* Ensuring internal controls exist within the Budget Holders area you are responsible for, and that the Budget Holders are fully briefed and aware of how to implement the internal controls expected.
* Ensuring that all budget holders have a thorough understanding of the Financial Regulations that apply to them.
