Chef De Partie - Birchwood Park Golf Club - Wilmington, Dartford REPORTS TO: Head Chef, SNR Sous Chef & Food and Beverage Manager SALARY: £27,110 Who are we? We are Birchwood Golf and Country Club, part of the Burhill Group, which operates 22 golf courses spread across 10 unique clubs nationwide. As well as stunning golf courses Birchwood also has a large swimming pool, gym, spa, and a host of classes you can take part in. It also has restaurant and bar that serves both members and events such as weddings, birthday parties and festive gatherings. What will you do? You will maintain appropriate stock levels and keep good hygiene practice and be able to adapt to different situations. You will have good relationships and communication with front and back of house staff. You will be required to follow instructions from Head Chef & Senior Chefs and be able to follow specifications in a timely manner. You will be responsible for day-to-day food preparation for the golf course and be required to supervise kitchen porters & Commis Chefs. You will work with the Head Chef to develop revenue and expense plans to maximise sales and profitability while maintaining excellence in quality and customer relations. Experience you MUST have? Hospitality and Leisure Sector experience - Essential 1 years’ experience as Chef De Partie - Essential Good Understanding of Food safety (Minimum level 2)/Allergens/COSHH – Essential Experience working in a busy, high-pressure environment - Essential What you get?
