The Role
We’re looking for a Field Sales Executive to grow SQUID’s presence across the UK by signing up local businesses. You’ll be out in the field daily, visiting cafes, salons, delis, and more—meeting owners, demonstrating how SQUID can help them, and closing deals. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a fast-growing startup and directly impact our expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Outreach:
* Identify and visit potential customers in your area (cafes, salons, delis, etc.).
* Pitch SQUID to business owners, explaining the benefits of switching to a digital loyalty program.
* Generate and follow up on leads through face-to-face visits, calls, and emails.
Sales & Closing Deals:
* Conduct in-person product demonstrations, showing how SQUID works.
* Overcome objections and tailor solutions to fit each business’s needs.
* Convert prospects into paying customers, hitting and exceeding sales targets.
Account Management & Customer Success:
* Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new customers.
* Maintain relationships with signed-up businesses to encourage retention and upsells.
* Gather customer feedback to share with the product and marketing teams.
What We’re Looking For
* Go-getter mindset – You love being out in the field, talking to business owners, and closing deals.
* Sales experience – Ideally, you have experience in face-to-face sales, field sales, or customer service.
* Self-motivated – You take initiative, manage your time well, and don’t need micromanaging.
* Great communicator – You can clearly explain SQUID’s value and build relationships with small business owners.
* Resilient & persistent – You’re comfortable handling objections and turning 'no' into 'yes.'
* Comfortable using tech – Basic proficiency in using apps, CRM tools, and email.
* Full Driver's License & Car
