The Role:
Are you an experienced student recruitment or school liaison professional? Are you motivated, enthusiastic and looking for a new challenge? Join our dynamic Schools and Colleges team as a Student Recruitment and Conversion Officer.
As a Student Recruitment and Conversion Officer, you will:
Promote the University: Account manage relationships with UK schools and colleges to promote the University of Portsmouth and boost undergraduate applications.
Be Our Ambassador: Represent the University at higher education recruitment exhibitions and events across the UK, delivering engaging presentations to prospective students.
Organise and Deliver Events and Recruitment Initiatives: Assist in planning and executing recruitment and conversion events and initiatives for prospective students, parents, and teachers.
To excel in this role, you will have:
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong Organisational and time management skills
Experience of working with and motivating young people
Experience account managing relationships with UK schools and colleges
Knowledge of the UK schools and colleges system, higher education, and widening participation initiatives.
You’ll be based at the University of Portsmouth but will travel frequently to schools, colleges and recruitment events throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays. A full clean driving licence is highly desirable and DBS clearance is essential. You must also be prepared to work evenings and weekends as required.
