Digital transformation within the NHS is accelerating, and the Dorset Intelligence and Insight Service (DiiS) is at the forefront of driving this change across the Integrated Care System (ICS). Our team collaborates closely with clinical, operational, and data science colleagues to create impactful solutions that enhance both the system and the health of the population.
This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a team whose work is diverse and continuously evolving to meet the challenges of an ever-changing health and social care landscape. A flexible, pragmatic approach is essential as you’ll contribute to a wide variety of projects, both large and small, while helping shape the future direction of the team.
As part of your journey, you’ll have the chance to learn new skills, innovate, and be involved in all aspects of the team’s work. We’re looking for someone who is eager to adapt, evolve, and grow alongside the team as we continue to drive digital change and improve outcomes for our communities.
In this dynamic role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting the Dorset Intelligence and Insight Service (DiiS) by enhancing our data warehousing and ensuring we meet the highest standards of quality. Your work will involve crafting insightful intelligence reports and analyses that drive meaningful change.
You'll be instrumental in providing accurate and timely information, helping us to improve health outcomes across our communities. By contributing to the streamlining of processes and tools, you’ll foster greater efficiency within our Business Intelligence team.
Your contributions will directly support the Integrated Care System (ICS) in tackling health inequalities and promoting population health management. Together, we'll cultivate an intelligence-led culture that empowers all Trust staff to make data-driven decisions. If you’re passionate about making a difference through data, we want to hear from you!

We recognise the link between high levels of staff satisfaction and improving patient experience and outcomes.
We are a Trust that celebrates diversity, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Dorset County Hospital has a number of employees from overseas delivering high quality services and we recognise the value of diversity in leadership.
