We have an opportunity for an IT Assistant to come and join our team on a full-time basis.
Main Objective
To assist the IT Manager in day-to-day department administration and to ensure functionality of computer equipment, hardware and software in support of the Company's business plan, quality standards and operational objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Effectively administer the Central Support Function utilising call logging solution
* Log, prioritise and investigate 1st & 2nd line issues and produce associated reports for the IT Manager
* Maintain the IT Asset register
* Create and distribute monthly price file information
* Liaise effectively with suppliers and business partners with the objective to obtain best service/price whilst accurately recording spend data
Advise and provide IT support to all staff on:
* Use of computers and IT hardware
* Use of software (Microsoft Office, VPN, shared directories, etc.)
* Company IT policies
* Assist with setup and maintenance of computer hardware
* Hardware & Toner Disposal/Recycling
* Ensure that ERP and WMS data is backed up on a daily basis with a full backup each month
* Monitor and maintain all site printers, liaising with print management company
* Management of Software Licensing ensuring they are current (AV, CALs, Office, Windows, etc.)
* Provide support for ERP (Kerridge) users (Permissions, Account creations, troubleshooting, reporting)
* Perform all other duties as required and as commensurate with the role
