About the referral centre:
This well-established referral centre is part of a large veterinary group and features state-of-the-art facilities, including multiple consultation rooms, hospital wards, theatres, and a full advanced imaging suite with CT, MRI, and ultrasound rooms. They also offer interventional radiology, cardiology, endoscopy, hydrotherapy, and dedicated chemotherapy treatment areas.
Situated conveniently near a major city, the referral centre boasts excellent transport links via road and rail to nearby cities. Two international airports are within easy reach, and the nearby countryside offers great opportunities for outdoor activities like walking, climbing, and sightseeing.
About the role:
As an integral part of their team, you'll work closely with experienced Vets at Night teams, providing essential out-of-hours support to their specialist-led referral teams across various disciplines, including Neurology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Exotics, and Oncology. The team is supported by a skilled group of Nurses and Veterinary Care Assistants, working on a 7-night on, 14-night off rota. Flexible working patterns can also be considered for the right candidate. They understand that their staff are key to their success.
