About this opportunity
This role leads our Recruitment & DBS Administration Team who provide a recruitment & pre-employment checking service to internal stakeholders, supporting our council directorates to attract and onboard a skilled workforce to deliver services that meet the needs of the people of Cumberland.
Key responsibilities
To oversee, guide and co-ordinate the work of the Recruitment & DBS Team to deliver well-organised, timely and accurate staff and agency worker recruitment & onboarding activities and ensure an effective and efficient service is provided for internal stakeholders.
You will also strive to continuously improve the level of customer service offered through optimising workflows, identifying system or process improvements and/or responding to stakeholder suggestions around enhancing ways of working.
