About the role
Habs Elstree is seeking to appoint an Assistant Registrar. The Assistant Registrar will be the first point of contact for prospective families and will be responsible for the exceptional end-to-end customer journey, dealing with enquiries, applications, interviews, assessments, offers and joining documentation. This role will be reporting to the Admissions Registrar.
Key Responsibilities
* Be responsible for the smooth customer journey at the relevant entry point from enquiry, through to registration, to joining, ensuring a first-rate service at all times.
* Ensure timely and welcoming responses to all enquiries giving clear and accurate information.
* Develop relationships with families, from first point of contact onwards.
* Build and sustain strong links with all internal relevant stakeholders in the specific entry point and be a visible and approachable colleague.
* Process all relevant enquiries and registrations in the timescale set for the Department.
* Request pupil references from feeder schools. Produce offer letters and joining documentation for the specific entry point.
* Keep accurate records as set out in the Departmental policy with all relevant information recorded in a timely and clear manner.
* Working with the colleagues in the admission team to ensure all events are planned and executed smoothly, giving clear information on numbers expected at events.
* Work with the Registrar and relevant academic staff in organising tests and assessments.
* Produce and send out clear and accurate information to parents regarding assessments.
* Keep accurate information on exam results and supply information as requested for decision meetings.
