What You’ll Do The Business Development Representative will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by generating high-quality leads for Provenir through research and a deep understanding of the financial industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading inside sales and be adept at utilizing Salesforce and other social media tools to maximize efficiency and productivity. Once a lead is established / qualified, they will transition the lead to our sales network. Collaboration:
1. Partner with the regional sales representatives, sales management, and marketing to align territory strategy tactics and develop a successful Go-To-Market strategy to align efforts and boost lead generation.
2. Develop best practices, and provide day-to-day operational direction to the BDR team
3. Work with Marketing on campaigns and repurpose content in lead nurturing.
4. Join weekly sales team meetings and brief Sales team before calls for engagement and transparency.
Lead Generation:
5. Qualify inbound marketing leads (MQLs) and facilitate hand-off to the regional sales representative
6. Setting up outbound call cadence and managing consistent flow of leads to Sales Reps
7. Lead the development and implementation of effective strategies for identifying and targeting potential clients in the financial services industry.
8. Gain a good understanding of Provenir technology and use cases.
9. Work closely with local sales teams to understand key focus areas and support market outreach via agreed channels.
10. Conduct account research to help target key clients personas
11. Utilise diverse channels (e.g., cold calling, email campaigns, social media) to generate high-quality leads.
12. Cultivate prospect relationships, initiate communications, and drive opportunities through the sales funnel.
13. Build rapport with key decision makers and transition warm leads to the Sales team.
14. Revisit prior campaigns to reconnect with leads and initiate new conversations.
15. Execute a repeatable sales process, from lead database hygiene, lead identification and qualification to hand over of the opportunity to the sales team.
16. Foster rapport and brand awareness with inbound leads.
17. Collaborate with senior decision makers to identify growth opportunities.
18. Implement a consultative sales approach to align client needs with solutions.
Salesforce and Sales Metrics:
19. Use CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools for tracking activities, updating data, and handling competitive information.
20. Report weekly sales forecasts and performance metrics.
21. Manage client data in Salesforce.com, ensuring accurate communication logs and information.
22. Analyse and report on sales performance regularly, making improvements when needed.
23. Achieve lead generation targets and KPIs.
24. Remain up to date with available technology solutions which could aid your client engagement. Develop and evolve a scalable, measurable, and predictable process of running and growing the BDR team
25. Manage, operationalize, and optimize all lead management software cadence for all BDR activities.
Product Knowledge:
26. Stay current on our SaaS Fintech products and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.
27. Conduct discovery calls to identify customer needs and solutions.
Requirements:
28. At least 5 years of inside sales experience in SaaS or Fintech, with a strong track record in lead generation.
29. Experience of coaching, mentoring or managing a team of BDRs / SDRs.
30. Solid grasp of the financial industry, fintech trends, and SaaS solutions, including successful sales of technical solutions.
31. Proficient in Salesforce for lead management and reporting.
32. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex ideas clearly.
33. Proven ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines, highly organised and self-motivated.
34. Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing market conditions.
35. Consistent success in surpassing sales goals and expectations.
36. Skilled in conducting solution-driven conversations at the C-Suite level.
37. Language proficiency in Italian or French is a plus.
