We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Rapid Assessment & Resettlement Practitioner (Scale 6) to join our dynamic team. The practitioner will work on the ground to assess the immediate needs of affected populations, engage with community stakeholders, and develop actionable plans to facilitate their resettlement. Responsibilities
Conduct rapid assessments to identify the needs of displaced individuals and communities.
Develop and implement comprehensive resettlement plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops and community meetings to ensure stakeholder engagement.
Coordinate with local authorities and organizations to streamline resettlement processes.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of resettlement initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
Prepare detailed reports on assessment findings and resettlement progress for management review.
Provide training and guidance to field staff on rapid assessment and resettlement best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social sciences, humanitarian studies, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in humanitarian response or resettlement work.
Strong understanding of the challenges faced by displaced populations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in data analysis and report writing.
Willingness to travel to various locations, sometimes in challenging conditions.

Start Time: 08:30
End Time: 17:45
Pay Per Hour: £17.54
