Aquinas Consulting is looking to fill a Manufacturing Engineer – Training and Development job for our direct client. This role focuses on training and developing shop floor personnel in manufacturing and assembly processes. The Manufacturing Engineer will ensure the production team has the expertise to meet high industry standards and produce quality products.

Manufacturing Engineer – Training and Development Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver training programs for manufacturing and assembly processes, including soldering, ESD handling, crimping, and cable assembly.
* Train personnel to meet J-STD, IPC-610, and IPC-620 industry standards.
* Create and maintain training materials such as manuals, guides, and visual aids.
* Conduct training sessions in both formal classroom and on-the-job settings.
* Assess training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
* Collaborate with production supervisors and quality engineers to address skill gaps.
* Stay up to date with industry developments and incorporate new technologies into training programs.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience in manufacturing engineering, training, or workforce development.
* Knowledge of J-STD, IPC-610, IPC-620, and hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, and cable assembly.
* Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess training needs and implement effective programs.
