Summary:
We are seeking a Consultant to join our global team. As a Consultant, you will be supporting the world’s biggest players and most exciting emerging companies to achieve sustainable success across the water, resource recovery, and energy recovery sectors. This role involves a variety of client-facing responsibilities, including analyzing market data, interviewing industry experts, and making strategic recommendations with the support of Senior Consultants, Project Managers, and Principals.
Based in our office in Oxford – one of our eight offices globally – you will have the opportunity to expand on your previous professional experience and develop management consulting, client relationship management, presentation, and technical skills. You’ll also benefit from interactions with experts with unmatched expertise in water, resource recovery, and energy recovery. Consultants receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues and senior leaders on their teams.
What you need to make an impact:
As a Consultant, you’ll be supporting the execution of impactful business and technical strategies to support the client’s goals and progress the adoption of a more ‘circular’ economy.
To be successful, ideal candidates will possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Fresh Graduate or 1 – 2 years’ experience in strategy consulting, ideally within a professional services firm.
* Analytical mindset and ability to synthesize large amounts of information.
* Oriented toward problem-solving.
* At ease with numbers and strong attention to detail.
* Deadline-driven and takes ownership of work streams or tasks given.
* Able to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
* At ease with presenting findings to a large audience.
* Curiosity to learn and develop.
* Interest in environmental issues including water, energy, and resource recovery.
* Bachelor’s degree from a university with a consistent outstanding academic record; Advanced degree or MBA is desirable. (Suitable fields of study may include Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, or similar.)
* Ideally, candidates should have international experience, i.e., having worked or studied in another country. The role requires excellent written and spoken English, although the ability to communicate in French is an advantage.

This is considered an ‘On-Site’ position. The nature of this role involves performing duties in-person, primarily from the Oxford office or other specified Amane office location a minimum of three days per week. The role may also include up to 25% travel to meet and work on-site with clients, attend industry events, or perform other duties as needed. This role may be eligible for flexible work arrangements, specifically the opportunity to be performed from other Amane offices internationally, as projects require/allow.
