If you are someone who can translate complex financial reporting into easily understandable reporting and are looking for a new challenge, read on to find out more!
You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the group management accounts, the annual statutory reporting, and the interim reporting to the stock exchange is always accurate and delivered to the agreed plan.
As part of this challenging role, you will be working across the business, advising on accounting technical issues, reviewing group-wide ledger submissions, and preparing reporting for a range of people, including the senior management team. Demonstrating a strong commitment to consistency with a keen eye for detail, you will review and interrogate financial information that is reported to our group board and shareholders, ensuring that all tasks are completed with the highest levels of accuracy and reliability.
We know what makes this job hard is being able to produce accurate financial information within tight deadlines and within a fast-changing environment. Possessing a can-do attitude and a flexible approach to dealing with conflicting priorities, you will react with pace to ad-hoc reporting requests.
Working at Games Workshop
At Games Workshop, we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this, we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave, is even more important than your skills and experience.
The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), a matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, a profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets), and the option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh, and let's not forget a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
