Aladdin Analyst - Edinburgh office base (hybrid 2 days a week in Edinburgh office)
6 month contract
The PRA are introducing new liquidity reporting requirements which our client is working towards meeting from January 2026. Meeting these regulatory requirements requires the collation of cash flow data across asset portfolios, insurance, and finance, often in a time sensitive manner (daily reporting on a T+1 basis is required in times of market stress). This project will develop an automated reporting process to comply with these requirements while minimising the ongoing costs and risks. We are looking for two Analysts with Aladdin systems experience to join the team.
Required experience:
* Experience of working with BRS and Aladdin
* Understanding and experience of working with the Aladdin data model, preferably via ADC
* Experience of working with Aladdin data in some or all of the following areas: cash flows, position data, derivatives, security master, margin and collateral and stress tests
* Experience of working in a scrum team and writing user stories
* Strong business analyst and data analysis skills
* Ability to define complex data transformation requirements, and problem solve complex data gaps and data quality issues
The deliverables:
* Build detailed understanding of all PRA reporting requirements, including data definitions and interpretations Identify data dependencies between delivery teams and define requirements that accommodate these
* Engage with BRS and Treasury team users to define required stress tests and configure in Aladdin
* Engage with other business teams as needed to triage data quality issues
* Identifying necessary source data from Aladdin data stored in the Snowflake data platform semantic layer
* Define detailed data mappings and transformation logic to convert Aladdin data to PRA requirements
* Write UAT test scripts for verification of reporting data derived from Aladdin (to be approved by business users)
* Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing including triaging defects and defining resolutions
