Our client has a long history in providing legal solutions and support to its clients for nearly years in areas such as conveyancing, commercial, wills and probate, litigation, and family law needs.
At present, they seek to appoint a Head of Litigation, who is highly skilled and experienced in Litigation/Dispute Resolution. The successful applicant will be joining a small but dynamic firm, where they will play a key role in growing the team and ensuring the quality of service to their clients is upheld. This role will be based in Warwickshire.
Successful applicants should exhibit the following:
* Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 8 PQE in dispute resolution and litigation.
* Ideally, previous leadership or management experience.
* Can handle complex matters, including negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and litigation.
* Ensures the timely and cost-effective resolution of cases while maintaining the highest standards.
* Managing invoicing.
* Can lead, manage, and grow the litigation team.
* Developing and implementing departmental goals, strategies, and initiatives to drive growth and excellence.
* Providing mentorship and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships by delivering exceptional legal services and demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique needs and objectives.
* Working closely with clients to identify potential disputes and provide proactive legal advice.
* Identifying opportunities for business growth and leading efforts to acquire new clients.
* Developing and maintaining strong networks within the legal community and related industries.
* Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of employment law is advantageous, but not critical to the role.
