Job summary Will be the clinical leader for the theatre speciality in a supervisory and multi-skilledrole. Act as a Clinical Nurse/leader to ensure the needs of patients are recognised and met by the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. Will take steps to deal with, and notify the Lead Nurse of any difficulty in the care planning process and in implementing planned care. 2. Responsible in leading the theatre team in the provision of care ensuring that effective communication systems exist and that all staff receive team briefing and have the opportunity to discuss matters relating to their services and trust matters. 3. Act as a point of liaison for multi disciplinary and multi agency working in order to achieve the best possible outcome for patient care. Will notify the Lead Nurse of any deficits in service provision from other agencies. 4. Provide registered practitioner support to junior nursing staff ensuring that staff training needs are identified and they have a personal development plan and professional profile undertaking IPR's within the post holders area of responsibility. 5.
