Job Description
Our client, an Independent ABTA Travel Agency and a Coach Tour Operator, requires an Office Manager to support and manage the Travel Consultants in their busy sales office located in Bognor Regis.
To be considered for this role, you must have a travel agency management background and enjoy the training and management of others, as well as selling to customers!
You must be able to work well under pressure as the office is very busy with walk-in customers as well as online and phone enquiries.
This is a customer-facing role in a sales office and duties include:
1. Providing the highest level of customer service at all times
2. Having great attention to detail and a flexible manner
3. Possessing a good telephone manner with the ability to deal with issues and complaints
4. Providing the MD with a travel agency activity overview
5. Working in both areas of the business, selling coach holidays, day excursions, cruises, package holidays, and handling associated administration
6. Scheduling rotas for workers within the business
7. General day-to-day management of workers and addressing work-related issues
8. Liaising with cruise lines to arrange promotions, visits, and attending conferences and events representing the business
9. Having a good level of computer skills with the ability to use multiple systems simultaneously
Working hours
Starting around £32K (with relevant experience), dependent upon experience.
