Join Our SEN Schools as a SEN LSA - Starting September 2024
We are seeking dedicated and versatile SEN LSAs to join our supportive team at SEN schools in Ware. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for compassionate individuals committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.
Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, both in and out of the classroom.
* Assist teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
* Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that caters to diverse student needs.
* Encourage student participation and engagement through differentiated instruction and activities.
* Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
* Support the development of students' social and communication skills.
Requirements:
* Experience as an SEN LSA or similar role within an educational setting.
* Understanding of various special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting individual student needs.
* Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.
As an SEN LSA in our Hoddesdon SEN schools, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their full potential. Your dedication and adaptability will contribute to a supportive and stimulating learning environment where every student can thrive.
Please note: This role requires a strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection. The successful applicant must pass all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
