Established yet growing subsidiary of a recognisable business looking for an FP&A Manager for 6 months Client Details Engineering / Technology Business Description Design, build, maintain and populate the group consolidation model; Help to determine the optimal layout for financial reporting and issue for completion along with briefing notes which set out how and when they are to be completed. These formats will be used for the annual group budget, multi-year Framework process, monthly presentation of actuals and forecasting of various expected financials as well as other ad hoc reports; Closely review incoming monthly reporting from their system each month. Raise questions with the Parent Company controllers to gain an understanding of key trends and variances, enabling the presentation of clear and thoughtful analysis of reported entity and consolidated figures to the GFC. Agree whether there are any matters which necessitate the amendment and resubmission of such reports; Enter each entity's latest month (finalised) actuals into the consolidation model using automated routines that have been documented and continuously improved by the FP&A Manager; Process appropriate consolidation journals and provide technically accurate consolidated financials - at all stages of the reporting process; Prepare robust analytical and reporting materials covering group performance for review by the GFC and onward presentation to the parent senior leadership teams. This will include the use of PowerBI and other data visualisation tools; Provide actionable insights and recommendations suitable for presentation to senior management based on financial analysis and performance metrics; Help to create and then maintain an intelligent 13-week cashflow process which captures likely funding inflows and outflows and facilitates effective group treasury activities. Pull together appropriate summaries to identify the necessary flows of cash and to take advantage of foreign currency balances held across the group; Work closely with the Group Financial Accountant to ensure alignment between the management and statutory reporting of year end results through an understanding of the technical reporting standards applicable to each of the entities within the group; Prepare financial models which enable dialogue and sensible challenge to be held of new strategic initiatives such as the exploitation of different commercial models, tactical investment in capital expenditure or the proposed entry into different sales market sectors or territories; Participate in the selection of future consolidation and other data handling tools and take a central role in the implementation of these; Lead and develop PowerBI within the Group Finance function as part of the data analytics Profile Immediately Available Commercially minded with strong understanding of Financial Reporting / Statutory Finance Can commute to South Surrey.
