Aquent is seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Client Services Director to join a leading and global beverages company. Operating across multiple international markets, committed to innovation, excellence, and delivering impactful brand experiences.
They are establishing an in-house agency to drive better, more creative, and cost-effective marketing solutions across global and local brand activities. As Client Services Director, you will lead the client services team, ensuring seamless delivery of projects across media, digital, and social channels. Working closely with the Head of Operations, you will define processes, manage briefs, and oversee KPIs and SLAs to ensure outstanding results.
With a global team spanning multiple markets, your role will be pivotal in fostering relationships, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring creative excellence. You’ll also play a key part in the agency’s long-term growth, developing strategies to expand its remit over the next five years.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and grow the in-house agency’s client services team, expanding its scope year-over-year.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with markets and brand teams, while effectively collaborating with external agencies and third-party partners.
* Oversee financials, scopes, resource planning, and agency time tracking in partnership with the Head of Operations.
* Ensure the successful delivery of projects—on time, within budget, and to high creative standards.
* Work closely with the Creative Director to embed creative excellence across all projects.
* Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
* Develop long-term strategies for scaling the agency, considering technology, capacity, and resource needs.
* Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring operational efficiency and business continuity.
Must Haves
* In-House Experience
* Someone who has built their own team before
* Preferably with FMCG experience in house, not someone who is from an agency that works on multiple accounts
* Pitching experience
* They won't be dealing with volume, but it will be a client per client situation
* Stakeholder management
* Ability to understand KPIs, but they will be creative and marketing based
* Ability to work with creative agencies and 3rd party production houses
