Job Title: Cash & Carry Manager

About Us:
We are the UKs largest group of specialist catering cash & Carry outlets, with 8 branches doing a turnover of £100million and employing over 250 people. We're looking for a proactive and organised Cash & Carry Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Hull branch. Our focus is on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining efficient stock control, and ensuring smooth operational processes, rather than solely driving sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management: Ensure the smooth running of all day-to-day activities within the Cash & Carry, including staff management, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
2. Stock Control: Oversee stock levels and ensure efficient stock management, including regular stock takes, maintaining optimal stock levels, and managing orders and deliveries to minimise waste and shrinkage.
3. Customer Service: Lead by example to ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times. Handle customer queries and complaints effectively, ensuring that customer satisfaction is at the forefront of our operations.
4. Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of staff, ensuring high standards of performance and a positive working environment. Organise shift patterns, provide training, and conduct regular performance reviews.
5. Compliance: Ensure all operational processes are compliant with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven experience in managing a retail or wholesale environment, preferably in a Cash & Carry or similar setting.
2. Strong operational and stock control skills, with the ability to manage inventory efficiently and accurately.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on maintaining high levels of customer service.
4. Organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
