Service Manager Annual Salary: £30 - £33k Location: Gloucester (Main site) with regular travel to Cheltenham Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Service Manager to oversee administrative and stock management operations within the NHS, specifically for the Cheltenham and Gloucester sites. This role involves managing both locations, with a primary focus on enhancing service delivery, identifying savings opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with trust clients. Day-to-day of the role: Oversee the administration and stock management, ensuring efficient operations across different contracts tailored to individual NHS trusts. Manage a team of three, with two staff members in Gloucester and one in Cheltenham, including conducting monthly 1-2-1s, annual appraisals, and monitoring target achievements. Travel regularly between Gloucester and Cheltenham sites to ensure cohesive team management and service delivery. Identify and implement savings opportunities and approve orders to optimise financial efficiency. Develop comprehensive reports, analyse trends, and provide insights on expenditure to support strategic decision-making. Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, working closely with NHS trust representatives and liaising with personnel at various levels to enhance service quality. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in management Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and bring out the best in team members. Excellent analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, including the use of basic formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables. Exceptional relationship-building skills, confident in leading rather than following. Experience in handling administrative aspects of business operations.
