Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* You will need to demonstrate the commitment to ensure safe working systems and practices are followed and to ensure personal compliance with all critical operational procedures
* You will be responsible for effective verbal and written communication between yourself and other members of the team to ensure precise and appropriate information is available as required
* Operating a chemical plant under supervision and laboratory operations
* You will be involved in manual handling of chemicals
* Operating computer controlled chemical plant system
* You will also work on projects to identify opportunities for improvement
