We Are looking to appoint a Cover Administrator to co-ordinate and manage the daily arrangements related to staff absence. The working week will be 30 hours, Monday to Friday 7am - 1:30pm (half hour lunch unpaid) term time only. This is equivalent to 38 working weeks of the year.The main duties of the role include coordinating and managing the daily arrangements related to staff absence to ensure the needs of the school are met to address teaching and non-teaching staff absence. The successful applicant will be required to maintain accurate and up to date records of cover arrangements, ensuring all data is logged and accessible for reporting and planning purposes and provide daily reports of staff absence to the Senior Leadership Team.
In addition, our Cover Administrator will also support the Data Manager with associated tasks, such as assisting in the entry, validation and maintenance of school data in management systems, as well as ensuring data handling complies with GDPR and school confidentiality policies.
The successful candidate will be required to liaise with Cover Supervisors, external staff agencies, teaching staff and members of the Senior Leadership Team, therefore, the ability to communicate to all levels is essential. The ideal applicant will have good all-round general office skills gained through professional training and / or experience, the ability to prioritise their workload, meet deadlines and have the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues.
