Job Description
Role: Commercial Gas Supervisor / Manager
A leading Gas Company, carrying out installation and maintenance work for the Commercial and Domestic sectors, currently has a requirement for an experienced Manager / Supervisor to be in charge of and assist a team of 5 Commercial Gas engineers. They have grown from a small family-orientated business to a multimillion-pound group, throughout the growth they have kept the same ideals, creating a comfortable and relaxed working environment that focuses on clear communication and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and assist in the service of commercial boilers and heating plants.
2. Complete fault finding on commercial boilers and heating systems.
3. Be fully certified to carry out Installation, Maintenance, Repairs, and Servicing.
4. Manage a team of 5 Commercial Gas Engineers.
5. Use Company Van for private use.
6. Coordinate with the allocator to assign jobs and schedule the engineers.
7. Join a time sheet and be part of a 1 in 4 on-call rotation (Optional).
8. Attend Client meetings and complete site surveys.
9. Ensure the timely completion of customer projects.
Requirements:
1. Must have full ACS Commercial Gas certificates.
2. Experience in Oil and LPG is advantageous.
3. Experience in domestic/commercial gas heating.
4. Must live within an hour's commute of Brighton.
5. Prior experience in a leadership position.
Salary: £50 - £60K basic dependent on experience + call out + package + van + pension. You will be able to use the company Car / Van for personal use.
