Job Title: Experienced Rehab Assistant / Support Worker Location: London and the Home Counties Working Pattern: Combination of in person and remote support. Flexible working hours. Clients can access remote rehab support through telephone, WhatsApp, email, and video call during regular office hours. The Role: As a Rehab Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting clients in a variety of ways, including: Implementing therapy programs prescribed by the client's therapist, such as exercises, meal preparation, and fatigue management. Scheduling and diary management. Providing remote support for tasks such as organising appointments, completing forms, and sourcing tradespeople. Assisting with MDT support, such as arranging meetings and preparing for therapy sessions. Supporting case management activities, including property searches and research tasks. Your role will be divided into two parts: - Visiting clients in their own homes or supporting them out in the community, e.g. at the gym or in medical appointments. - Providing remote support to clients and their therapy teams on a scheduled or ad hoc basis, for example supporting with admin tasks. You'll get to know between 2-8 clients at any time. You'll build relationships with each client and team, and become skilled in their rehabilitation support needs. Qualifications NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or minimum two years’ experience in rehabilitation. What we’re Looking For:. Professionalism A professional approach to work, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and respecting confidentiality and privacy at all times. 8. Patience and Resilience Working in rehabilitation can be challenging, so having patience and the ability to cope with setbacks is important. 9. Team Player Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, case managers, and other professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT). 10. Self-Motivation and Initiative Comfort with working independently, especially when remote support is required, and the initiative to carry out tasks without constant supervision. 11. Tech-Savviness Comfort with using technology for remote support (e.g., video calls, emails, WhatsApp) and other necessary digital tools (e.g., scheduling software).
