Transport Shift Manager Job Summary
GXO Logistics is seeking a skilled and experienced Transport Shift Manager to join our team at our busy Currys site in Newark. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in transport management, leadership, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the transport team to achieve high-quality service delivery and meet customer targets
* Develop and implement strategies to improve process efficiency, productivity, and employee engagement
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive business results
Requirements and Qualifications
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in transport management, leadership, and team development
* National CPC certification (or equivalent) and knowledge of relevant transportation regulations
* Strong analytical skills, with ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business results
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
