About the Role:
You will provide support primarily for one of the Partners in a residential property department but also for other Partners and solicitors when required. Your responsibilities will include regular use of digital dictation to produce a variety of correspondence, forms and documents. General administrative work related to conveyancing transactions is also a key part of the role which will include managing documentation, opening new matters and files. Polite, efficient communication with clients is essential.

Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (1 hour lunch)
* Office based Heriot Row, Edinburgh
Key Duties:
* Providing full secretarial and administrative support.
* Audio typing to include general correspondence as well as preparing and formatting legal documents.
* Maintaining and organising case files and client records.
* Providing general administrative support to the legal team.
* Taking telephone messages from clients and other professionals
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally within residential property law.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
