Are you someone with a passion for technology, looking to join an ambitious and growing cross-functional DevOps team? Our Terminal Platform team, responsible for the development, support, and maintenance of all our Retailer instore products, has a new opportunity for a Product Analyst to join the Product function to help shape and influence our instore offerings.
What will you be doing?
As a Product Analyst, you will be familiar and hands-on with our technical products where you will analyze application data and analytics, as well as insights from Retailer feedback to understand the performance of our products.
You will work collaboratively with the Application Support and Engineering functions to establish opportunities for product improvement and support the Product Owner to understand problems, issues, and trends that will be fed into either product knowledgebase articles for Application Support or user stories for our engineering teams to build or adjust features to improve our product offerings and the level of service to our customers.
You will chair service reviews with both internal and external stakeholders and be comfortable presenting MI reports and KPIs on product performance. The role will also require you to speak directly to Retailers to understand product feedback, notably during new product releases or major enhancements.
This position also offers someone with a passion and desire to progress their career in Product ownership and management.
What would we like from you?
* A passion for technology and Product Management
* 3+ years' experience in a Technical Analyst or Product Analyst role
* Experience querying data through a ticketing system, such as Jira or ServiceNow
* Experience analyzing and querying application data, through SQL, application logs, or Azure Log Analytics
* Must be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
* A collaborator, critical thinker, and problem solver
* Self-sufficient. Able to manage your own workload and able to identify where appropriate escalation is needed.
* An understanding of Retailer systems
* Experience working within an agile team environment
It would be great if you already have…
* Experience with transaction processing systems around point of sale systems
* An interest in software development and programming languages
* Experience of Jira and ServiceNow
* Experience of Splunk
* Experience with Azure DevOps
* Experience with Android
* IIS Server Knowledge
